This project was located in Cullowhee, NC and was the first phase of student apartments within the Catamount Peak Apartment Complex. Our firm served as a prime contractor to Bostic-Kenney Properties of Raleigh, NC for the site and utility construction. The project was challenging due to the steep slopes of the existing site topography. Major items included within the construction were erosion control measures, 8 AC of clearing & grubbing, 68,000 CY of excavation, 1,420 LF of storm drain pipe, 24 drainage structures, 2,070 LF of 8" sanitary sewer pipe, 2,240 LF of 6" waterline, 2,400 SF of redi-rock retaining walls, 5,300 LF of curb & gutter, 4,400 TN of stone base, and 2,600 TN of asphalt paving.
