This project was located in Cullowhee, NC and was the third phase of student apartments within the Catamount Peak Apartment Complex. Our firm served as a prime contractor to Kenney Properties of Raleigh, NC for the site and utility contruction. The project was challenging due to the steep slopes of the existing site topography. Major items included within the construction were erosion control measures, 6.5 AC of clearing & grubbing, 65,000 CY of excavation, 1,255 LF of storm drain pipe, 12 drainage structures, 720 LF of 8" sanitary sewer pipe, 600 LF of 6" waterline, 9,684 SF of MSE retaining walls, 3,800 LF of curb & gutter, and 8,500 SY of asphalt paving.
