BSI performed the construction of this project in Canton , North Carolina . The primary intent of the project was to remove and replace a failing box culvert. Care had to be taken to protect the stream that ran through the existing box culvert until the new culvert construction was completed. BSI employees also had to cooperate and be good neighbors with the bordering funeral home, paper plant, and church.

Major items included within the construction of the project were 220 LF of 60" RCP, 192 LF of 24" RCP, 1,095 CY of rock excavation, 2,700 SF of MSE wall construction, 265 LF of curb / sidewalk, 247 LF of 8" stand-up curb, and 3,300 SY of asphalt paving.
